ALPINESTARS SUPERTECH SUIT – New Introduction Description - The very latest in auto suit technology. Designed and developed using new, unique fabrics, to reduce weight and improve comfort and safety performance. The construction of this 3-layer suit features improved breathability and gives the driver a very high level of comfort and flexibility. The design and cut specifically aim to produce a distinctively svelt appearance. THE NEW SUPERTECH SUIT KEY FEATURES: FIA Homologated 8856-2000 SFI Approved to 3.2A/5 Construction Lightweight and highly breathable, three layer, 100% Nomex® suit construction for maximum comfort and safety. The outer layer combines the new Alpinestars L&G fabric and unique, Ripstop fabric to give a supremely light and breathable surface. The recently developed L&G fabric is made up with a mix of Nomex® and Carbon for ultra-light weight and excellent fire resistance, while Alpinestars Ripstop fabric gives greater breathability without compromise in heat or flame resistance. The Intermediate Nomex® felt layer gives a highly effective heat transfer protection barrier while the internal layer uses a new Nomex® felt, specifically developed with Du Pont, with internal stitching for improved strength. Combined weight of the 3-layers is only 265 gr/sqm Engineered racing design Multi-panel construction is specifically designed to give better fit and feel with pre-curved arms and legs to improve comfort in the driving position. Simple, clean, design, utilising different panel base colors gives a distinctive, slim, appearance and allows for easy sponsorship logo placement and presentation.
